So, before this class I did not have a twitter and when I read it was a requirement I was a little lost on what exactly to do, but I got the hang of it easily. I decided to follow many marine biologists because that's how I will get the information I need to focus on the research I want to plan to do. I specifically want to research sea life and what needs to be advocated for them. I then began to tweet about a Costa Rica trip that will be going on in May to help research on Leatherback sea turtles when nesting. In order that the eggs hatch and they make it safely to the ocean. From there I began to read and retweet my classmates' posts since they were very informative and could be used for my future research. Overall, I feel very comfortable in this platform and will be a great way to get research.

I never had a twitter before either however I was familiar with the site and how it worked from friends . I'm glad it has been able to help you narrow down your topic into marine live. I ,too, have been able to find some useful information from different twitter sites.

I never really used social media before either but I hope it wasn't too hard to figure out. I don't really know what I want to research on yet but I agree that sea animals is a great idea! I'm glad you're feeling more comfortable now.

Hi Kayla! I did not have Twitter before this class either, so you are not the only one. I find it interesting that you are considering to focus of sea life for your research project since I am partly terrified of deep water and what lies underneath. Despite this, there are some beautiful marine life, like dolphins and sea turtles, that have managed to capture my attention.
