The Finish Line

We have reached the finish line, it has definitely been a ride I won’t ever forget since the last few weeks were exactly like a slide. Looking back into the quarter I have learned so much; for one how to find a solid piece of a research study. Before this class I did not know how long these studies actually are. Of course this was an important skill to learn and transform because if I did not, it would’ve caused my paper to not have great sources and as well be credible. What I mean by this is who wrote it and if it had all the elements that it needed in order for it to be a research academic study. Another aspect that I have learned so much would be how to use social media in an educational way. Before this course I did not think that social media could be used this way. As I said before I never had twitter before this class and when it was requested that we do so; I thought to myself why? But it is so clear now. It’s one of the easiest ways to connect to people and spread advocacy and knowledge.
After this course I can see that I have issues with writing. What I mean by this is that I get severe writer's block where it takes me a while to produce something. Time is my worst enemy when it comes to writing. My game plan on how to change this and make it better would be to give myself time before the due date of a paper, and as well as calm my nerves when writing. Maybe when I get writer's block I should take a break. Another issue I know I have would have to be punctuation issues. I do know how to punctuate, but at the same time I know I need a lot of work. Those Connect assignments helped me a lot to understand more, but I still need more help. My game plan would have to be to watch videos regarding punctuation and grammar to really grasp it.
Overall, I am very grateful for this course for it has taught me so much. Thank you all for reading my posts, have a great one!
